About Constance Depler Coleman
One of America's premier pet portrait artist, Constance Depler Coleman is unique in rendering her subjects in their home settings. Her lifestyle portraits have brought her subject's personalities and history to life for clients across the United States and Europe. She is recognized as one of the most famous portrait artists with her lengthy client list including prominent business executives, rock stars and celebrities, such as Oprah Winfrey, Oscar de la Renta and President George W. Bush.
She has created animal designs for commercial clients since the 1950s. Her animal characters have appeared on products as varied as wallpaper, linens, greeting cards and tabletop gifts. Many of her early efforts are now considered collector's items or are still in print resulting in a truly "evergreen" property.
